Jewish Learning
and Opportunities

Imagine a job that actually encourages - and mandates that you learn!? Well, you found one, as a JCSC Fellow, because Hillel takes your Jewish education seriously and encourages you to explore and learn.

Part of the fellowship includes at least one hour a week of Jewish learning. You can do this several ways: by auditing a class at Penn, or possibly at Gratz College. You can study with one other study or colleague, or possibly join a study group. Penn Hillel even has a program - "Roots" - that pairs students together to study.

I studied with two other students, while also taking a class. The Jewish Learning is an excellent way to advance your own understanding and knowledge, while also giving you a small break from the job and reminds you why you are engaged in Jewish life!
